Our Team

  • Pastor Brad Smith

    Pastor

Brad graduated from Mobile University in Alabama and received his Master of Divinity at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He married his lovely bride Cynthia in 1978 and stepped into the pastor duties of LifeChange Christian Fellowship in June of 1993. They have two children, Kristal and Micah, that are grown and have families of their own. Brad enjoys wood turning on his lathe, fly fishing and camping in the teardrop trailer he and Cynthia built.

As pastor, along with preparing and delivering spirit led sermons on Sunday mornings he is responsible for ministering to the members of the congregation by making hospital and home visits and counseling. He also leads a men's discipleship group on Wednesday mornings and a prayer group on Tuesday evenings. Occasionally there will be Sunday night teaching and training that he will conduct, as well as the oversight of the activities of the church.

Brad and Cynthia deeply love both this area and the church, they believe that the Bible, God’s Word, is our standard for faith and practice. The best way to reach out to Pastor Brad is via email at pastorbradlcf@gmail.com or to call the church office at (503) 842-9300.

  • Pastor Matthew

    Youth Pastor

In addition to leading the Crusaders Youth group, Pastor Matt is called upon to give sermons regularly. He has been shepherded by Pastor Brad, who helped him reach the level of knowledge that makes him a valuable source of God's Word.

  • Michael & Sandra Swanson

    Deacon & Deaconess

Our ministry is to reach out to the people in our congregation who need us. We visit people who are recovering from health issues, have suffered a loss, or who are homebound and would like company. We love to reach out by phone and just talk, too. I am happy to set up a meal train when someone is in need of meals. Our biggest joy is to pray with everyone who needs prayer.

  • Randy & Christie Sheppard

    Deacon & Deaconess

Randy was born and raised in Washington state while Christi was born in Italy and raised in Missouri. Christi attended college in Memphis, Tennessee. They met at a small church in Seattle where Randy was saved the same week Christi was sent to help start a children's program. They were married in 1982 then moved to Everett, WA to raise three children. Randy worked as a welder in shipyards and Christi as an RN in the hospital. After the kids were grown their adventures took them to Kodiak, Alaska; Liberia, Africa and Eustis, Florida before landing in Tillamook. Family is important to them so they spend their time visiting nine grandchildren and helping with Randy's mom and Christi's dad.

They have been at LifeChange about 5 years and both volunteer for Children's church once a month. Christi teaches Children's Sunday School and leads the Wednesday Ladies Bible study.
